2. Zero Data Collection (Strictly Offline)

We believe your relationship with the Qur'an is private. Therefore, the app is designed to function entirely on your device.

• No Analytics: We do not collect any data about how you interact with the app. There are no third-party tracking SDKs, no interaction logging, and no usage statistics.
• No Personal Information: We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location.
• No Accounts: You do not need to create an account to use the app.
• Local Storage: Your bookmarks, notes, reading progress, and Khatm tracking are saved locally on your device only. We cannot see or access this data.

3. Permissions: Notifications

To provide you with the best experience, the app requests one single permission: Notifications.

We use notifications exclusively for the following reasons:

• To inform you about important app updates.
• To notify you if we make changes to our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.
• To send you reading reminders (such as the Daily Ayah or special reminders during the month of Ramadan).

You are in total control. You can turn off notifications at any time through your device's system settings, and the core functionality of the app will remain completely unaffected.

4. Data Security

Since Qur'an Kareem does not collect any data and operates offline, your information is inherently secure. The data you create (bookmarks, notes) is protected by your device's built-in security measures. We highly recommend using the built-in Backup and Restore feature to save your progress securely.
